Getting It Out

So how do you celebrate your birthday these days? Do you go on a traditional ‘lads’ weekend to Prague and get bolloxed on meths and Absinth and consequently go blind for 3 days? Or do you do nothing but wait in your local for the 60 year old stripper to turn up that your friends have so originally organised? Or perhaps you decide to organise your own music festival and invite as many bands as you can humanly herd into your local venue? Having already exhausted two of the three options, organising a festival is exactly what a couple of guys from Newport, Wales, have decided to do.

Now in it’s second year MattStock, (so-called as both organisers are unsurprisingly called Matt), the ‘mini’ festival is one of the post summer event to put into your little black books.

This year they are gonna make the whole thing bigger with a bigger venue, merchandise and a website. Which I where I come in.

Over the course of the next month or so I shall be putting code to pixel to create the official MattStock 2007 website.

Be warned though, sometimes it ain’t so pretty!
